Chore Jacket Class

Transform reclaimed upholstery fabric into a durable, one-of-a-kind chore coat while building a range of practical garment-making skills. You’ll cut and prepare a pattern, assemble the coat using basic straight stitching, install a zipper, finish seams with an industrial serger, and add binding for a clean, finished look.

Because a chore coat is a larger and more detailed project, this class takes place over two sessions, giving you the time and guidance needed to complete each step. You’ll leave with a functional, custom-made coat that reflects your personal style while keeping quality material in use and out of the landfill.

Prerequisite*

Participants must have completed either Intro to Industrial Sewing 100 or the one-hour Industrial Sewing Primer before taking this class.
